A Tainan operator preparing an electronic payment institution application asked us to stress-test onboarding and agent oversight six weeks before counsel planned to file. Fieldwork covered forty case jackets and interviews with agent managers in Kaohsiung.
Material gaps included missing beneficial-ownership refresh logs and agent training records that existed only as attendance photos. The firm delayed filing by three weeks, closed the refresh backlog, and used our board summary in the eventual submission pack. They later noted that the delay felt costly at the time but prevented a likely deficiency letter.
Safeguarding review ahead of a banking partnership
A wallet provider seeking a partner-bank float arrangement needed independent testing of daily reconciliations. Wei-Ting Hsu re-performed ten business days of packs and traced every break older than seventy-two hours.
