What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand how pages are used. Similar technologies such as localStorage may store your cookie choice on this site.
How we use cookies
Cloud Infra Connect uses essential cookies (and localStorage) to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, and may use analytics cookies — only if you accept — to see which pages about audits for fintech are read most often. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, forms, or content.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cloudinfraconnect_cookie_consent | Stores your Accept or Reject choice for optional cookies | Until cleared (localStorage) | Cloud Infra Connect |
| _cic_session | Essential session continuity for form security tokens when enabled by hosting | Session | Cloud Infra Connect / host |
| _cic_analytics | Optional aggregated page-view counts (set only after Accept) | 12 months | Cloud Infra Connect |
Essential vs analytics
Essential storage keeps the consent banner from reappearing on every page load and supports basic site operation. Analytics cookies help us improve navigation and reading paths; they are not used to sell advertising profiles.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause your browser to request resources from Google’s domains. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers. If future embeds introduce additional cookies, this page will be updated.
Managing or disabling cookies
Use the banner’s Reject button to decline analytics. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored consent key and will show the banner again. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; essential functions such as reading pages will still work, though preference memory may reset.
Impact of disabling
Disabling optional analytics does not affect requesting an audit, reading Field Notes, or viewing fees. Disabling all cookies or localStorage may cause the consent banner to reappear frequently.
